Hired Ghost Part 2

Geeta and Ravi are Married the whole company attended their wedding all were happy to see the two most hard working and good people tied in holy matrimony. They take a few days off and go to see many places in India . They come even more closer as the day passes ,they have liking for the same things and most of their choice matches .They spend many days hiking , going on adventure trips and watching movies , and finally they had to return their abode .They shifted to a new flat which Ravi had booked for Geeta as a wedding gift. He did not want to stay in his old flat where he lived before marriage he wanted to start their new life in a new flat .They called their colleagues and friends and relatives for the housewarming ceremony . The party was a success, all appreciated them and how cute they looked together .They had a few more weeks to join the office .They spent a few days shopping for their new house .And days were spent in both arranging the furniture and setting the kitchen .One night after having done lot of work and a good meal both went to sleep and were fast asleep ,when around 3 am in the morning Geeta felt a women wearing a long skirt running on the street as if someone was chasing her Geeta could hear her heart beats and she breathing , the figure of the lady enters her front door and comes towards her bedroom and comes and stands next to Geeta she can feel the lady breathing louder and louder she closes her ear and is waiting for the net move by the lady after listening to her breathing loudly she suddenly feels the ghost has walked over face her skirt falls on Geeta.s face covering her and then she jumps from the window behind Geeta.s bed ,She sweats a lot and slowly pulls Ravi’s blanket and goes inside it and hugs him tightly.Morning Geeta is lost in her thoughts Ravi feels she may be missing her family as she has never been away from them . He doesn’t probe and just allows her to be in her space ,he starts fixing all the electrical gadgets in the room .Geta does not want to tell him about her night experience .As she is not sure what he will think about her mental state so prefers to keep to herself.The day goes very nicely and peacefully after the have their dinner they decide to watch a movie .They decide to watch a romantic movie , while watching the movie around 1 o clock Geeta hears some knocking on the door . she ignores it and goes closer to Ravi she sees his reaction he does not hear any sound he is busy watching the movie ,she goes very near to him and keeps her head on his shoulder , but still she can hear the knocking at the door , it becomes louder and louder .She tells Ravi to stop the movie as she was feeling sleepy and can continue to watch the next day . He closes the laptop and visits the washroom before going to sleep. She suggested to him to go and check the front door just to make sure the door is locked .They both go to check the door he checks the latch is properly locked the double door is also locked . She tells him to look from the keyhole to make sure the lights of the floor are on , he sees from the keyhole and tells her the light is on .No need to worry , everything is secured . But just before following him to the bedroom she looks through the keyhole and feels petrified as she feels as if someone suddenly covered the keyhole.She hides against the door not wanting to move and been seen by the person. She is frozen against the door . Ravi goes to the bedroom and does not see Geeta with him , so he comes back to the hall . And see her scared face ,drained of blood , she was white with fear and not moving .He goes and holds her lovingly and asks her what happened she tells him to keep quiet and bend down they both bend down and she makes him crawl towards the bedroom, both crawl so as not to be seen by the person whoever it is from the keyhole .Though no one can see inside the house through a keyhole Geeta is not in the right frame of mind ,so Ravi agrees to follow her instruction as she is very disturbed.. She quickly jumps on her side of the bed and tells him to close the bedroom door too and check the window too .He does all that she asks him to do .and then tells him not to switch off the lights .and then pulls him inside the blanket and buries her head in his chest and tries to hide deeper and deeper Ravi tries to pacify her he hold her tightly and talks to her lovingly till she falls asleep , he keeps holding her and kissing her so that she feels assured he is awake.In the morning Ravi gets up early he prepares tea and goes to the bedroom and sits next to her and drinks the tea while reading the newspaper he sees she has slept like a baby so does not disturb her.After he finishes reading the whole paper Geeta is still asleep .He gets up and goes to the kitchen and prepare breakfast for them with the aroma Geeta wakes up and goes and freshen up and goes and hugs Ravi and he makes her sit on the chair and gives her tea and breakfast,they both eat without talking after finishing her breakfast she goes to her bed and again covers herself with the blanket and lies down quietly .Seeing her on the bed Ravi checks her temperature it shows normal no fever ,he too lies down next to her and asks her whether she would like to see any movie . She keeps quiet and turns her head as if to say no.In the evening Ravi suggests they go out for dinner as he was tired of cooking and even she will feel better meeting people outside .She agrees reluctantly just to make him happy .After spending good time window shopping and dining in a good restaurant Geeta feels relaxed and her mood has also changed Ravi feels good that he brought her out. They reach home whileRavi is busy opening the door and Geeta is busy looking here and there as if waiting for some unknown person .Ravi enters the room and switches on the lights, Geeta comes in after him and closes the door . and looks around suspiciously .Ravi sees her actions and tells her to relax and he will get her water from the kitchen , she sits down and as Ravi is about to go and get water , Geeta stops him and holds her ears shut with her hands ,she shouts and cries as she can hear someone throwing all the vessels in the kitchen down the sound of the falling vessel is making her go mad she tells him to stop the person from throwing the vessels Ravi can not hear any sound from the kitchen ,he can not leave her and go and check the kitchen Geeta starts banging her head on the wall she wants the sound to stop she pleads with the person in the kitchen to stop throwing the vessels down. Ravi does not know what to do Geeta is continuously crying and bangimg her head and injuring herself ,she starts to bleed from her he holds her head away from the wall she becomes very aggressive and pushes him away .And again starts banging her h , he sits on the floor and watches her helplessly .After some time Geeta falls down unconscious he picks her up and takes her to the bedroom cleans her wound and ties bandage to stop the bleeding ,he changes her blood soaked clothes . and he too changes and just to check and confirm he goes to the kitchen .And he is taken aback he is shocked and moves behind and hits his head on the cabinet behind.What Geeta had said was true all the vessels where scattered on the floor there was nothing on the shelf all the cabinet door was open .He quickly closes the kitchen door and runs towards the bedroom to check on Geeta she was still unconscious . He calls up his close friend and tells him what has happened in the house ,he assures him he will come immediately with his wife and if possible he will bring few more friends as now even Ravi is petrified and does not know what to expect.He closes the bedroom door and is sitting near Geeta he is now shivering ,he feels sleepy too out of exhaustion he is about to sleep when he feels someone is shaking their bed it starts to shake slowly and then very violently .Ravi holds Geeta and darts crying and pleading the ghost to stop shaking the bed as his wife is not well .he pleads with the unknown energy to leave them alone , then he remembers what his father had told him when he had gone to stay in a hostel whenever he felt scared he shout chant prayer 108 times loudly . As the shaking became more violent he started to chant very loudly he had nothing else to protect him . After some time the shaking of the bed stopped. But still Ravi did not want to leave his wife alone.He hears the knocking on the door and then the ringing of the bell , he does not move he does not want to leave Geeta alone for a minute , the ringing of the door bell becomes more continuous and louder.After some time Ravi’s mobile rings and he jumps up and then realises it’s his mobile he picks it up and his friend tells him to open the door as he has come with a special friend of his and his wife has also come to take care of Geeta. After being convinced he agrees to go open the door. When he        

Ses his friend , he hugs him and starts crying like a baby he takes everybody in and shows them Geeta .And then he takes them to the kitchen , they are shocked to see the vessels still lying on the floor .The guy who has accompanied Ravi’s friend takes him aside and tells him the process of warding of the host has to be taken immediately or else it will be too late the ghost will start touching them and torturing and later talking to them . It will have adverse effects on them they have to be saved as he has brought all the items required to ward off the ghost he can start right away .He asks Ravi for his permission and then the man does all the arrangement .he sprinkles water on everybody and ties a tread on everybody’s wrist as a security so when he calls the ghost the soul they will not enter any body’s body . All are given instructions to keep quiet and not get scared when the process is going on.He lights a fire ,throws some red powder and makes some designs on the floor . and chants few mantras and calls out to the soul in the house he asks the soul come in front of him ,show his identity ,and tell why he or she is troubling the couple ,What does the soul want .He chants some hing and throws some ashes in the fire and suddenly everybody can see a horrible looking lady with burnt face , the whole house starts smelling of burnt flesh. All are terrified but keep quet as told she come and is floating around the fire he asks her who sent her to disturb the peace in this couples life, she says the name of Ravi’s brother in law .His elder sister’s husband , she says he hired her from a Tantrik to destroy Ravi and his wife’s life . He asks her but what is the reason why he wants to destroy them? ‘ She says he wants the property which Ravi owns and is slowly transferring to his wife’s name .He all the time wanted all the property belonging to Ravi . And when he got married he was angry and so he went to a Tantrik ( A man who practises black magic and traps souls and gets work done by them ) and made him send her to trouble .The man tells her she can be set free right now , would she like to go or wants to treated more horribly than her master would treat her.She says she wants to get out of this world and go away to the other world she wants to come out of the traps as soon as she agrees to be freed the man throws lit of askes on her she cries out in pain and sticks to the wall like a lizard he throw more ash on her she gives out deafening cry and turns into a black smoke and disappears from the house leaving behind dirty smell .The man sprinkles holy water everywhere in each and every corner of the house and goes outside the flat and throws some ashes and sprinkles holy water. He tells them in the morning they should remove the things which were used in the ritual and throw it in the river not to touch anything tonight ,he tells them the house and their life is safe but the bad news is Ravi’s brother in law has got a stroke and he is paralised .As the bad deed he had done he got punished for that . Ravi is sad but also relieved that the ghost has left them forever. Geeta has regained her consciousness and is happy to see familiar faces as she gets up and smiles and does not remember anything that happened to her . She feels she has got up from a very deep sleep the man has gone .the friends sit and have tea as if everything was normal.
