Kate woke up from her sleep when she felt something drop on her face. She sat and rubbed her tired puffy eyes and looked up in the sky. "It's going to rain," she whispered. Kate touched her parents' grave and stood up. "Thank you for always comforting me, Ma and Pa," Kate said. "I'll see you again tomorrow. Don't worry about me up there," she added and fixed her jacket. Kate ran as fast as she could until she arrived at her house. She immediately took her towel and went to the bathroom for a quick shower. When she was done, she made cocoa and drank it on the couch while listening to the sound of the rain falling on the roof and on the ground. Kate did not notice the tears fall in her eyes as she stared at the empty wall in front of her. Her heart felt weak, like it had been crumpled
