Caleb As I refreshed my inbox, a thousand scenarios played out in my mind, each one more daunting than the last. I had to hope that whatever this was, we could find a way to navigate it without further endangering our pack. But as the email box loaded on the screen, I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were already in over our heads. The link to the message was now before me, though I was yet to click it, I knew we were at a critical juncture.
