Nala Luckily, I had studied the terrain when we arrived, so I knew where the field was. I charged my horse in that direction, feeling the thrill of the ride. Xander, clearly no rookie, caught up to me in no time and even overtook me. It had been a long time since I’d ridden a horse, but muscle memory took over, and I found myself moving with ease.
