Garie stared at James after hearing what he said. She even furrowed her eyebrows and crossed her arms over her chest.
“What do you mean there is no one outside my room? I clearly heard them talk and their footsteps. I even saw their silhouettes go down the stairs that’s why I followed.” She told him and James let out a frustrated sigh.
“But I am telling you the truth. There is no one outside your room. I was standing right there.” James said, pointing towards the corner where his room is located.
“I looked around and I didn’t see you.”
“Yes, you looked around but you didn’t see me.”
They bicker and then they both let out a sigh of defeat.
“I can only think of two things in this, it’s either you were dreaming or it was a ghost,” James said and Garie gave him a deadpan look.
