James finally let out a sigh of relief once he removed his doctor’s coat and hung it on the hanger. He is in his office and he just finished more than ten hours of duty as an Emergency Department resident and supervisor of the interns and new hires.
He looked at his watch and cursed in his native tongue when he saw how late it was. He pulled out his phone from his pocket so he could call Garie but then he remembered he doesn’t have her number. So he tried calling Feng Hu instead but unfortunately, his trusted bodyguard is not answering.
James looked at his phone to check if he is calling the right number, and he is so he is wondering why Feng Hu is not answering his calls. He shook his head and stuffed his phone back into his pocket and then he grabbed his bag and jacket.
