James was on his way to the cafeteria for his break when he received a message from Hunter. When he opened it, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Garie holding onto some old man’s arm.
He immediately texted back, asking who the man was, but he did not get any response. He stared at his phone while he stood in line to get food.
“Why isn’t he texting back?” James mumbled.
He was anxiously waiting for Hunter’s reply. After getting his food, he went to sit at the table farthest from everyone else. He sat there, staring at his phone while nibbling on the sandwich.
