Maxwell’s POV
I look up and find mom standing at the end of the stairs. My heartbeat accelerated furiously as she walks nears me.
“Nothing mom. I was just telling him that my mate is someone, I don’t want to talk about”
I was quick to come with an explanation. Mom looked from me to Louis. Her eyes were curious but she will also not force me to share something which I don’t want too. I breathed a sigh of relief when she finally nods her head at me.
“You will tell me or your dad if there is something that is disturbing you” mom says to me. I nod at her.
“You will be the first one to know mom” I assure her.
“Good. Now, the dinner will be served at eight. See you at the dinner table” she says to me and Louis.
