Maxwell’s POV
“Mom” I turn to find her staring at me with a shocked expression on her face.
“You found your mate and you did not bother to inform us?” she asks with a hurt look on her face.
“Mom, I wanted too but I could not inform you” I give her a pleading look.
She moved back when I took a step closer to her. I raked my hands through my hairs.
“You did not find us important now that you are taking decision on your own” she snapped at me.
“Mom please don’t say like that. I did not want you and dad try to change my mind” I tried to explain.
Mom looked really upset with me. I scratched the back of my neck.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” dad walks out in the backyard in hurried pace.
“He has found his mate and did not feel it important to inform us” mom informs dad.
