My fellow witches and I worked for about two hours, gathering everything we needed to create the portal permanently, tying it to the front of the lodge, making the circle, and chanting the spell with our crystals in place. We chose a spot about 30 feet in front of the lodge. The grass is gone within the circle now, holding a slight glow. We pick up the crystals, and the ladies go their separate ways. I am going to find Asteria and tell her the good news.
I find her in her room, lying across the bed with wet hair, looking frazzled. I have to laugh. “What’s wrong, Asteria?” She Huffs at me and states. “I don’t know what to wear. I will see him in person for the first time.”
