Thump! Thump! Thump! The sound of her heart beating wildly against her chest echoed loudly in Leslie’s ears as she stared at Jessica’s body. Jessica’s body was still on the floor, unmoving. She lay face first on the floor. Why wasn't she moving? Leslie wondered. Surely, she was pretending, right? Aaron moved with werewolf speed to the end of the room where Jessica was lying.
