Chapter 8 The Schools New kids and a voice??

Samantha POV

    Riding in the passenger seat of my own truck feels kind of weird. I stare out the window as we pass through town. It is still early as we pull into the schools parking lot and I tell Asher to park in the back in my usual spot, however he decides to take one of the popular kids spot in the front row along with all the jocks. And of course, wouldn’t you know it, little miss thinks she is perfect (aka Macy) is setting on the hood of her shiny Mercedes that her father bought her for her 18th birthday. A lot of you may be wondering how she is 19 and a senior in high school? Well unlike me she is stupid and failed freshmen year… twice.

    We park and I see Cody and Eli still outside of the building as well and as I look around I see that EVERYONE is standing there. The boys come running over with Kat and the twins in tow. Eli has his arm around Kat’s waist and I can tell they are getting along well. Cody opens the door up for Whitney and gives her a kiss on the lips. Something must have happened between the two of them while I was out because I didn’t think they were letting people know they were an item.

    Before I could open the door Asher is around to my side of the truck. As he opens it for me, I can see and hear everyone talking about him. That is until they see me. Everything goes silent. I step down, swing my bag over my shoulder, put my hair in a lose braid on the side of my neck where Asher gave me the hickey and walked to the front of my truck.

                “Well, well, well look what we have here. A little tramp who thinks she can go for the new kids on their first day.” The evil little b***h says laughing at the end. She hops down from her car, having to fix her skirt, that is way to short and shows off her ass, and walks over to us. I had not realized that I had Asher on my right side and Reece on my left. They both step in front of me to shield me from her but I place my hand on their arms and they step back.

    “I would stay away from that lowly girl if I were you. God knows what kind of std’s she’s carrying as much as she spreads her legs.” She looks at me still with a smile on her face. This gets the principles attention as well as pissing Asher and Reece off not to mention the handful of guards behind us who are also starting school today.

“Macy I would stop while you are ahead if I were you.” Principle Lance says.

“You saw what happened this morning yet you still have the balls to say stuff like that in front of Samantha and I… I’ll give you props for boldness but I would back off if I was you.” Asher says calmly.

    “Oh I didn’t mean you any offence  Asher but that little thing next to you is nothing but a girl with a bad temper who will end up in jail for hurting someone.” At this comment the students who are not in the pack start to leave as teachers and aids announce class will start again since the fire alarm was a test. With all the humans inside now Asher announces who he is.

    “I am Asher Denmark the future Alpha of the Royal pack, this here is my Beta Reece Mathews and as you can see many of my guards are behind me as well. I will tell you all this once and one time only. Samantha is not to be bothered. I will be following her and Whitney around till graduation along with all of us you see here. We will be graduating from this school as well. If anyone has any problems with her you will bring it to me and me only.” With that he takes my hand and leads me into the school and right to my locker. I open it after a few hits as he leans on the one next to it.

“So what is your first class?” I ask him.

“Don’t worry about my classes just do what you do baby.” He says with a glimmer in his eye.

‘He has to be hiding something from me…. But what is it?’

As we head down the hall we came I stop in front of my English comp class. I open the door and enter into a loud room. I make my way to the back of the class and Asher is still following me.

‘why didn’t he just say we had the same class…’

    In my second-class Human physiology he sits next to me and makes it extremely hard to concentrate, and today of all days we are going over the parts of the nerves system. As I am taking note’s I feel a hand slowly slide up my leg from my knee and rub circles on my thigh. I begin to turn red. He suddenly stops as Mister Delay walks by. After he gets back to the front his hand shoots up close to my now heated core and I let out a yelp.

“Miss Rider is there anything you would like to share with the class today?” Mr. Delay asks.

    “Um… no sir sorry, I just gave myself a paper cut.” I sit back down, while the class laughs at me, I turn beet red and shoot Asher the you are going to dye look and he whimpers under my gaze. Dammit, it’s so hard to stay mad at him when he give’s me those puppy eyes. Xander knows that works on me too well… I need to think of some way to punish him… so I decide payback is needed.

         I slip my hand onto his leg just as he had done to me. At first I can tell he doesn’t think that I will take it any farther but little does he know he has started to help me out of my little shell. I run my hand up to his side and dig my nails gently into his abs causing him to tense. I then trace a single nail down his side and up his growing member. I get to the tip and glance at him. He is trying really hard not to make a sound as I trace circles around his bulge realizing just how big he is. I pull back in a fit of shyness causing him to grown a bit too loudly.

    “Mister Denmark if there is a problem with the homework I just assigned I could gladly add some more seeing as you are new and need to catch up. How about this, you give me a 5-page summary of what you already know and what we went over today. I’ll give you till next Friday to turn it in but make sure it doesn’t happen again.” Mr. Delay says. The whole class laughs and I stifle a grin as I hear him growl and curse under his breath.

    We make our way to the lunchroom. I find our gang hanging out at our usual table, I go to sit down after Reece pulls Asher away to talk about something and I feel my chair get pulled out from under me but I am not fast enough to do anything about it and land flat on my ass, causing the jocks behind me to start busting up laughing. Drake, who I haven’t seen since he asked me to be my mate and I found out I already had one, helps me up and starts to yell at the asshole Murcas who pulled it out from under me. I then feel myself being scooped up and sat on the table and in a blur having hands feel me all over.

“Baby look at me, are you okay, did you hit your head, does anything hurt?” Asher is asking franticly like I am dying. And before I can even answer. He starts to bark orders.

“Dawn can you call your mom to come look at Samantha for me, Reece go pick us up some lunch, Cody get your principle and dad down here now and Drake where the hell is the ass who dared lay a hand on my mate.” He demands. Well so much for keeping that a secret till my birthday cause the whole commons area is now looking at us with wide eyes. I smack a hand to my face and take over.

“Dawn don’t call your mom I am fine I only fell on my ass and was only there for 5 seconds. Reece I can eat lunch here at the school that is okay. Cody please do go ahead and call them because it looks like we are going to have to have a huge assembly at school and at the pack house to announce this. And for the last time Asher let me handle my own fights.” I say jumping down from the table and placing a hand on his back.

                I look to drake who as now pushed Marcus over to me and I see Macy striding over towards us. I take one look at Marcus and lay him out flat with a single hit to the face causing everyone to gasp seeing their star football player laying out cold on the floor with blood dripping down his nose. I turn to Macy and a single look makes her shrink.

                “I know dam well it is you who told him to do that so I will wait till father and the rest of the pack are present to hand down your punishment.” Cody says. Apparently dad had said something would happen to anyone who picked on me so this will be funny.

“What has happened out here?” Principle Lance asks in shock coming through the crowd of students.

“Well you see Marcus here pulled Samantha’s chair out from under her and she punched him in the face knocking him out cold. He is lucky she did it and not me. No one lives after laying a hand on my mate and causing her pain.” Asher spits towards the football players who all have worried looks on their faces.

“Did you just say mate?” The Principle asks both in shock and understanding of what just happened.

“Yes I did and I also need you to call an assembly for all the students and faculty as my father Rowen Denmark will be here tomorrow to make an announcement regarding the security of this school. I believe his company, Denmark Security, will be handling the upgrades to this school as well. The whole student body stands there looking wide eyed.

Looks like I will be meeting my future in-laws as well as excepting Asher. Why cant anything go as planned.

‘Because we are destined for greater things’ a voice in my head says and I become wide eyed now…
