I'm Coco's Boyfriend

Coco pov

   I press the bell button. I hope Mom is not mad at me. After five minutes the door opened. And I see Mom with an angry face.

     "Coco, you are late…" Mom soured out of lungs. 

     She looks like hulk right now, ready to beat me to death. I was searching for words to make her anger cool down. She doesn't like when dinner is late, especially when she is the one cooking. And Price's mother is her best friend from childhood. So today's dinner is super special for her. 

     "Mom, I'm sorry… I just…" I try to say.

     "Excuse me, Auntie… Please don't be angry at her…" Max's voice came from behind.

      I turn and see him nervous standing behind me. He steps forward and stands beside me.

       What? Is he crazy? He dares to come here? What going on in his dumb mind?

       "What the hell! Max, why are you here? Didn't I tell you to not follow me?" I can't believe he follows me here! 

      "I can't leave you walking alone in the street. What if something happens to you? I'm worried about you." Max said in a gentle tone. His facial expression was caring and loving. 

       "I'm not a kid that needs a babysitter following me around." I frowned.

       "But I just…"

       "Just shut up! Leave now!" I turn him back and push him out.

       "Hold on little girl!" Mom's voice made me shiver. 

       Oh, no! If Mom talked to him, he definitely said something useless.

       "Mom, he's leaving…" I continue to push him out.

       "I said stop there Coco. And you unknown boy come back here…" Mom used a commanding tone.

      "Yes, Auntie…" Max was keeping it hard for me to push, turn and walk faster to Mom.

       "F**king, bastard!" I cursed him and kicked him to the ground.

       "Coco, I heard that! Now come back here too." Mom's voice was damn serious.

       I turn and walk back to the door with heavy steps. Max was standing in front of her like a good boy. 

    I hate this guy!

    "Hello, who are you? Are you Coco's new friends? Because I never see you around here." Mom absolutely forgot about me and her new target was Max.

       The stupid boy ever!

      "Hi, I'm…" Max opens his mouth to introduce himself. 

      I didn't want him to mess up, so I pulled him back and I stood in front of him.

      "Mom, he is my friend, Max. And he just leaving… Max, you need to leave, bye…" I pushed him one more time.

      "Hold on, Babe. Let me meet your mother and your family." Max kept in his place and said. He is so strong, I even push him back.

      "Shut up, Max!" I snapped at him.

      Suddenly I froze in spots. My eyes widen as I see Prince walking with his girlfriend. His mother is with him. 

      s**t! s**t! s**t!

      Why are they so early?

      Prince saw me and waved his hand. He looked so hot in that grey half t-shirt and black jeans. His black silky hair waving air. I feel my face heat up. But soon my vision was blocked by a tall figure. I looked up and he was Max, standing in front of me like a mountain. His eyes were on Prince. I step aside from Max's back as I face Prince. 

      Prince didn't notice Max. Because he stared at me with a big smile, like he usually does when we see each other.

      "Hey, Bee…" Prince walked forwards to hug me.

      "Hi, I'm Max… I'm Coco's boyfriend! And you, my friend?" Max put his arms around my shoulder as he waved his hand to Prince.

     "What!!" I heard many shocking voices and one of them was Prince too.

      I look around in surprise. To my bad, Rose and Nathan are also there picking from Mom's back.

      "Did I do something wrong?" Max whispered at him.

      "You f**k up, Bastard!" I growled at him.

      Why does he say that bullshit? I never expected him to introduce himself as my boyfriend? 

     I mean, hello… I never accept your proposal. How can he declare that he is my boyfriend? 

      "Oh my goodness! Did I hear right? My daughter had a boyfriend and I never knew about this? You need to explain this girl! Come inside… You too, boy!" Mom's voice sounds so scary right now. 

      I look at Max in a dead gaze. He just wrinkles at me playfully. He looked so calm making my dinner hell. I'll kick him for sure.

      Mom walked inside and Max pulled me with him. Prince and others get into the house. After a short time my leaving room filled with my family and Prince with an unbelievable face. My brother, Mom, and sister look damn serious. Other hands, Prince looked confused, and he continued staring at Max. Prince's mother had a gentle smile. Other hands, Wand keeps staring at Max and me with an open mouth. What makes me frustrated is that they are all sitting on the sofa and making me sit on the opposite side beside Max. 

     "Mom, why all this? I feel like a criminal." I said in an annoying tone.

     "Shut up, Coco! How dare you hide that you had a boyfriend? And it was HIM?" Nathan pointed to Max and frowned in anger.

      My brother is angry, I know it's shocking to know he found out his little sister had a boyfriend all of a sudden. He had the right to be angry. But he did not look angry at me, because I hid my boyfriend from him. He was angry because it was Max? 

      Did they know each other? Because not just Nathan staring at Max in a sharp and killing expression. But Max had the same expression for Nathan. Seeing how serious my brother, Prince, was standing beside him.

      "I also didn't know my girl is your sister, Nathan." Max said calmly.

      "Hey…" I want to snap at him.

      "She is not your girl, Max Watson. My sister will never be your girlfriend." Nathan growled in anger.

      'Wow! Can my brother be this angry? I have never seen him angry like this before.' 

       "Nathan, keep quiet!" Mom snapped at him in an angry tone.

       "But Mom…" Nathan tried to say.

       Mom gave him a sharp look. That means he does not have permission to talk. Nathan frowned angrily. Prince just pats on his shoulder and whispers something in his ears. In return, Nathan just nodded his head.

      I look at Max who has a smug look on his face. I pinch him to make him look at me.

      "Ah…" He looked down at me. Why is he so tall?

     "What's the matter with you and my brother?" I whisper in a low tone.

     "Long story, in short, we hate each other… I'll tell you our hate story later." He wriggled at me, as he said.

     Why does he need to wrinkle at me?

     Before I say something my Mom clears her throat. We look back to them.

     "So you are my daughter's boyfriend? Did you like her?" Mom asked in a serious tone.

     "Mom…"

     "Yes, Auntie… Let me introduce myself to all of you. I'm Max Watson, I'm basketball capital, I live in the south area. I had my own house, my parents had their own company. I didn't count maybe five or six… Anyway, I study in the same school as your son. I like basketball, black coffee, the beach and most importantly I like your daughter Coco. And she is my girlfriend." He was saying more and more. But I put my hand on his mouth to stop him.

      Why does he talk too much?

      "Wow, I mean he is so talkative?" Prince's mom said with a smile.

      "Just like a girl." Nathan mocked.

      "Well, not like someone who has had a high temper problem." Max mocked as he removed my hand.

      "Max…" Nathan growled at him.

      "Nath…" Mom stopped him.

      "Mom, why are you listening to his bullshit? Just kicked him out. He's just lying..." Nathan sneezed in anger.

      "What I lied to you? I'm not the basketball capital? Or I'm not at your school? Nathan, you know me very well. Tell me what I lied to you about?" Max gives him a challenging smile.

      "You… You…" Nathan became speechless.

       "See, you never find out my lies. Because I never lied to anyone." Max said proudly.

       "But still I do not agree with you… My sister will never be your girlfriend."

        "It's her choice, Nathan. You can't be bossy around her." Max struggles with his shoulder.

        "You…" Nathan tried to say.

        "Nath… If you don't keep quiet, then leave the room." Mom said in an angry tone.

       "Mom…" Nathan looks at Mom in disbelief look.

        Well, this is getting messy!!
