“I’m going to sleep with Alpha Xavier,” I said casually. Jia spits the coffee right in my face.
“What the f**k did you say?” Jia screamed in surprise as I wiped my face and hissed at her.
“You’ve heard me, Jia,” I said.
“You’re going to sleep with a cold-hearted criminal,” she spoke in surprise. Thankfully, this stone’s magic is a sound-canceling barrier surrounding the two of us. Otherwise, the whole café would hear Jia scream.
“All he wants is my body so I will give it to him; once he gets tired of me, he’ll ditch me.” Jia gazed fixed on me while I spoke as if babbling in a foreign tongue. I’m well aware of how ridiculous I sound.
