Sandra After I got everything hashed out, Mom and I talked, and I did the paperwork, I took Mom to the home. The day after, I called a family meeting. I was in my second week of dialysis, and with every treatment, Carl would tell me my progress, and also my progress on the donor list. There was, of course, no news yet. It was too soon to expect to get anything, though, so I didn't lose heart. I still had some time. Early morning on Saturday, I got up to make some food for my visiting relatives. Everyone that could make it was going to be there, including my two cousins, their parents, and another of my mom's brothers and sisters.
