Sandra Carl kept his promise, and finally, after my second dialysis, I got discharged from the hospital. I went home, but the place was empty. But I expected that because when I'd called home from Carl's phone, my cousins had let me know they took Mom back with them to their place to make looking after her easier on them. I didn't mind.
