Chapter 18- Misunderstanding Pt.2

The two followed the three men in every place they go. It was quite an exciting scene for Otis, who has seen the two girls—even knowing that he will not get anything from this, Otis did not speak about the two girls since he knows that he will get some entertainment from this event.

The two boys, along with Otis, went to the park, where they sat on an unoccupied bench. Meanwhile, the two girls tailing the three of them gaze at them behind a tree. Surprisingly the two were able to hide well as they take a peek behind the tree.

Otis gazed at the tree, “this is somewhat an exciting scene. Now, what will happen? I know this is stupid. But I am pretty intrigued by the event that will occur."

“Hey Anne, are you sure that those two are in such a relationship?”

“That's why we are following them, Medina. The two of us also want to know the truth. Let's keep our eyes on them since this will be somewhat a big scoop."

“Why would it even be a big scoop, Princess. Henry isn't that popular; he's only a farm boy with incredible skills."

“Forget about that; Medina, isn't this somewhat a bit of a steamy scene. Aren't two guys talking and sitting next to each other rather cute. A forbidden love between two of the same genders. This a story worth to be written."

“I do not get it, princess," Medina spoke as he gazes at the two boys.

Anne grabbed Medina on her face and forced her to look at the two. She then told her these words, “Medina, look at those two. The way they talk, laugh, and all over interact is something that a woman would fantasize about in their wildest imagination. Two handsome and cute boys together."

“I do not like where this is going, princess. I think we are invading Henry's privacy."

Anne releases Medina from her grip and replies, “I think you are right about that. However, I cannot pass something as hot as this past my eyes. Imagine Medina what kind of play those two are into, a sadist and masochist, vanilla, or some roleplay."

Medina walks a few inches away from the princess, whose face was pink and was heavily breathing while gazing at the two boys. “You're kinda creeping me out, princess," Medina spoke after getting a good amount of distance away from the princess.

Otis gazed at the princess, and when he saw the thirsty look on the princess. Otis was creeped out by the vibe he was getting from the princess. It was so bad that he was terrified and forgot about why the hell he was there.

“Women are still scary; I am quite a bit scared right now," Otis said unto himself after seeing the face of the princess.

However, Henry and Caleb, who has not noticed the people following them, were having a great time chit-chatting with each other. Like there was nothing wrong with their surroundings or people spying on them.

”Today was fun, ain't it, Henry?" Caleb asks.

“Yep, it was fun, but..."

“You did not listen to my lecture about the town's history. So I know that you will say that you did not get what I was talking about, so not surprising at all."

Henry was embarrassed as his face turned red after hearing Caleb, “geez! You don't have to rub that in too much!"

“Haha, well, you have such a short attention span, Henry. I also saw how bad you are at focusing on some boring stuff."

“Are you mad at me for doing those things?" Henry asks.

“I'm not mad. I have enjoyed our time together. It's pretty lovely to go outside the building once in a while since I'm pretty much stuck there."

“Why are you stuck there? Did Harmon not allowed you to go outside that place during work."

“Well, I was the one who hasn't been going out. I don't have any friends since I devoted myself to studying since I was young. When I was even a child, my father had always brought me to the laboratory where Harmon works."

“Oh! Where's your father now, Caleb?"

Caleb looked down on the ground and replied, “He's dead now; he died of a severe illness."

“Sorry if I spoke something I shouldn't have."

“No worries, it's not that big of a deal. People die for a reason, so I have accepted everything. Also, you don't know about my father, so I understood where you are standing."

Henry felt relieved as he lets out a sigh of relief. But after that, he also spoke, ”I guess we are the same. My father also died long ago. It's so long that I have forgotten the reason for his death. Only I could remember painful memories if I try to remember. So I stop thinking about him until I forgot everything and went on with life."

Caleb grabbed Henry's hand, which shock the hero. But for the princess, this was a fantastic scene to be seen. Anne's eyes were so glued at the two that she forgot they were in a public place, where people could still see her.

The people passing by had a weird look given at the princess. Medina was the one who was embarrassed by this. She even told the princess that they should go back. However, the princes turned down Medina.

Back at Henry and Caleb, ”Do not worry about it, Henry. I'm sure your father is probably looking above the sky, guiding and protecting you from the dangers."

Henry smiles at Caleb after hearing him speak, but he also replied, ”Thank you for that, Caleb."

Otis, who lost interest in the princess, spying on them, saw this scene. Otis suddenly felt nostalgic by the two, as he remembers something from the past before he became the emperor feared by the world.

Everything came rushing into Otis's mind. The scene of the burned village and the bloody body of his severed brother he carried in his hand as he laid on the dead severed bodies of his family.
