Dream or Reality?

I open my eyes to find that I'm surrounded by darkness.
‘Am I dead?!’ I thought to myself
Goddess I thought it would look better than this. It's like an endless space of darkness that surrounds me and never ends.
All of a sudden a flash of bright light blinds me. My eyes flicker open and closed, trying to focus. Once my eyes were focused, our beautiful family's palace comes into view. I stood near the beautiful flower garden that my mother planted before she died.
"Goddess you have grown up so much!" A familiar voice said out happily behind me.
I turned around to my father standing there looking better than ever in his formal royal attire.
I was frozen in shock.
Was it really him?!
"Yes it's me sweetheart." He laughed. Tears fell down my face like a raging river.
I was so happy to finally see him again.
The shock wore off quickly and I practically tackled him, hugging him tightly and not letting him go.
"I missed you so much!" I cried out, surrendering myself in his arms.
"I missed you so much too Aura." He said painfully, "But I've been there with you every step of the way."
The tears and sobs kept coming. It was so unreal that I was seeing my father right now.
"I'm so sorry for everything Aura, you didn't deserve to have to go through that." My father said out softly as he rubbed my back.
"It's okay, it doesn't matter any more. What matters is that we're finally together!" I cried
My father pulled back from the hug, looking sad. “Oh honey, you can't stay. It's not your time yet.” He caressed my face gently and wiped the tears that fall from my eyes.
So many things went through my head. I didn’t understand what he meant. I'm dead! There's no way I survived!
"What do you mean?!" I yelled out
"You are meant for so much more Aura. The world needs you."
What was he talking about?!
The beautiful bright blue skies became dark and cloudy. My father looked at me sadly, as if he knew he had to say goodbye.
"There's not a lot of time left, listen to me." My father rushed out, "Do not let anger and revenge cloud your judgment!"
All of a sudden, everything started to disappear into dust, including my father.
"Say it!" My father demanded, as I watched him slowly disappear into a storm of dust.
"I won't let anger or revenge cloud my judgment." I whispered.
What is happening?! Everything is disappearing as darkness surrounded me.
"You are so strong, just like your mother. I love you so much Aura.” My father’s voice echoed out in the darkness, bringing me so much pain.
I cried out painfully with snot running out of my nose.
"FATHER!" I screamed out for him, but there was nothing but darkness.
In a flash, I was being pulled back by this invisible cord. I kicked and fought trying to break free but there was no breaking free.
"BOOM!"
