Chapter 17
The sixth grade students were all seated in the music room. A piano in the middle of the room with Mrs. Maryssa playing her usual boring evening song. None of them wanted to be there. Trumpets and drums, guitars all over the place. They were just an audience their teacher was the entertainer. Bored out of his mind was Leon. He was just waiting for the bell. The funny thing was there were two Leon’s. The grown up Leon was watching the grade six Leon from the window. He was also wrapping his head around what was happening to him.
