Rayne’s POV
I am sorting things out with the head of the protection detail, Mike. We are planning and organizing where people are staying and what will happen tomorrow. The eclipse may only last a few hours, but we don’t know what to expect during it. What we know is that our wolves will be dormant, just like when there is a blue moon.
Max and Jax are with me. I really hate Mike. He’s an arrogant arsehole. He thinks he is and his team are the best in the world. I once even heard him tell someone that I only got my position as General of the Royal Guard because of my sister. Shows what he knows!
However, a scream from within the palace had me running in. Max and Jax were close behind me. The commotion is coming from the Beta suite. Autumn, the baby. I think, panicking.
