"This..... But I was injured" Vincent thought, his face was smooth like nothing happened to him only a small cut here and there with the stitches of his nose, "could it be that it was because of that dream"

Vincent took his bath and walked out of the bathroom when he entered the ward Selena and Karen were waiting for him when they spotted him they immediately ran towards him.

"Vincent I was so worried about you, if I knew this would happen I wouldn't have left you all alone" Karen complained.

"Come and hug mummy, my baby boy," Selena hugged Vincent and patted his head like he was some kind of puppy dog or something.

"Errrr mom it's been over a minute that you have been hugging me."

"Ohh my bad", Selena woke from her trance,

"I always held you like that when you were a kid, you always made me happy, but now I feel distant from my son".

"No mom, you still have me remember our deal".

"Ohh yeah" Selena replied while grinning from ear to ear,

Clara who was watching them found their behavior odd as they were all acting intimate, she was slightly jealous.

"Mom, what's with your face?" Karen asked.

"Nothing", Selena replied while still grinning.

Karen sighs... At her mother's childish behavior, anytime she hears about s*x, "Vincent took mom traits" Karen thought.

"Mom, can I ask you a question?"

"Of course darling."

"Can Clara live with us"?

Selena paused for a second,

"Yeah, anything you decide I would agree with you since you are the man of the house."

Vincent sighs of relief as his mother agrees to his selfish request. Clara, who was listening to their conversation, her ears perked up when Selena agreed to live with them, although she was not poor she just wanted to be happy living with Vincent and his interesting family.

"Mrs. Oswald thank you very much and am very grateful," Clara appreciated.

"It's nothing Clara, and you can call me mom or Selena since you have decided to divorce and date my son, but anything we have we share it in our family."

Clara furrowed her eyebrows as there were hidden meanings in Selena's words.

"Do you agree??" Selena asked.

"Yes I agree mom," Selena was dumbfounded as she didn't believe Clara would agree and even called her mom.

Then Selena hugged her,

"We are one big family from now on," Selena declared.

Karen also hugged her, "welcome to the family,"

"thanks" Clara replied with tears falling down her face.

"Why are you crying??" Selena asked.

"It's just that I never had a real family before as I was an orphan who just got lucky, b.. but now you allowed me to have one, I am very happy."

"It's okay dear, from now on you are my daughter I will adopt you, or you wait till you and Vincent get married", Selena said while intentionally looking for Karen's trouble as Karen also wants to marry her brother.

Karen's veins were popping as she was really angry at her mother but she kept quiet.

Vincent was quietly watching the women reunion before he suddenly says

"let go home shall we?"

And the women nodded their heads and they left the ward.

Then Vincent signed out at the hospital reception hall, and they all went home.
