Clayton sat before me, seemingly immobile.
From the second that I have uttered those words, I had put everything in the line. I quivered, waiting for anything to happen to my link. My body was waiting for the pain. Despite not knowing much about breaking the link, I knew well enough that it felt like your heart is ripping into two. Silence has ensued to the both of us, making me see the shock and hurt swirling through his beautiful eyes.
The smile that he had offered me was long gone, all that is left for me is a complex expression. His eyes grew fierce, making me jump as it seemed nothing but dangerous. I couldn’t tell what he wanted, and I do not want to suffer the break of the link before him.
