I stir awake in bed and my hands touch the side where Cassandra is but she's not there, why is she not back from the bathroom yet? I abruptly get up to check the bathroom, I knock a few times but she doesn't answer.
I run downstairs to check in her room but she's not there. Why does she always run away from me and when will she get that I mean her no harm.
' can you blame her for thinking otherwise?' snarls my wolf, all my anger dissipating immediately as my answer comes back weak.

I sigh.
' Owen, I swear I'd never hurt her again, I'll never let anyone hurt her again,'
it's a promise I made her and myself but she doesn't believe me, but I understand why she doesn't trust me and I'll never stop trying to earn her forgiveness.
