For two weeks we are not allowed to leave the pack, and if someone has to leave, they have to go in groups to avoid being caught ambushed by rogues.
I get my phone and call Dylan. I see less of him but he calls to check up and sends me chocolate.
He doesn't answer on the first ring, so I sit on the couch, my fingers are gently playing in Shine's fur.
" Hey, babe," Dylan picks up, I almost roll my eyes. " How are you?" He sounds tired over the phone.
" I'm bored, I want to go to the cabin this weekend," I say almost whining.
" Why do you need to go there?"
