****Ren's POV***
After I realized she wasn't coming back I went back to the pack house and straight to my room. I got dressed and just sat at the window by my bed, staring out as tears fought me for escape. I hated this. I was so angry, when there was a knock at my door. "Not now!" I called out, but my parents walked in anyway.
"Son?" My dad asked tentatively.
"She's gone. Are you happy now?" I asked miserably. My mom gasped but covered her mouth. "Don't mom. Don't pretend this isn't what you both wanted. Get out before I hurt your feelings." I couldn't look at them. I was going numb. I had never considered talking to my mother like that before, but I didn't care anymore, about anything.
"I really liked Echo son." She started, but I snapped at her.
"Stop!" They gulped back in shock
