Khione opened her eyes with a gasp. She felt instant relief wash over her when she found herself back to reality. She closed her eyes and steadied her breathing, trying to clear her mind of the nightmare she just went through. It was a harder task than she had assumed but she tried her best.
When she finally opened her eyes again, she felt much calmer. She slowly stood up and turned to her side to see that she was left alone in the courtyard. She then quickly turned around and sighed in relief when she saw Jasper standing behind her, looking as if he was about to fall asleep.
