"You look really cute today," Macy suddenly called for Khione's attention, "but your skirt is too short. I'm saying the for your own good but next time wear something more modest."
Although her honeyed words would have sounded careful and worried about a friend to a stranger's ears, Khione was too familiar with Macy so she was well aware that she meant it in a demeaning manner. She was trying to humiliated Khione.
"It's against the rules to wear a skirt that is shorter than the knees," she finished with a smirk on her face.
"Oh? Is that so?" Khione asked as she looked down at her outfit. "Thank you for letting me know. I'll be more careful next time."
"You didn't know?" Macy asked, her smirk growing bigger. "You really do have the memory of a goldfish, don't you?" she giggled.
