Khione stared at the Alpha prince as if he was out of his mind.
"Can you please repeat what you just said?" she asked, feeling at a total loss of words.
After her conversation with Jasper earlier that day, she was suddenly asked to return to the Alpha Prince's office. Khione had assumed it was for work, but it turned out that the prince had some terrible news to relay to her.
Arawn pressed his lips together, a look of frustration evident on his face.
"Your guardian, Jasper, is required to leave the Kingdom by the end of the week."
"What do you mean, required to leave?" Khione asked, the burning blood of frustration rushing to her face. "Why is he required to leave so suddenly?"
