Stella
'This feels so soothing, Alina' I mentioned from within as she was cleaning her wings. It was the high peak of the night, and I was still thinking about my argument with my daughter, calling for a relaxing moment in the bathroom. Stretching her wings, she sighed.
"I really needed to stretch these bad girls" she said, making me laugh. She closed her eyes as she felt Isaiah walk in.
"Hello my love" she greeted him while he slowly walked closer. He put his hands on her stretched out wings and started to massage, before kissing her neck, making her smile, contented.
"Trying to stretch?" he asked. Alina nodded, feeling the love surging through his hands. He walked around her, with a dominant stance and stroking her cheeks he kissed her, "I need to talk to Stella, if you don't mind, sweetheart"
I could see Alina pout and I had to fight the urge to laugh. "Why? I am sure that whatever you tell me, she will hear it" she said, trying to convince Isaiah to let her stay out a little longer.
"I would love to, my queen. But this matter has to be solved by her" he replied, and Alina had no choice but to let me out. As we shifted, I could feel my body aching.
"I guess I am not as young as I once was" I mentioned when we finished shifting. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me.
"You are still beautiful" he whispered in my lips. I stroked his cheeks and looked at him with Alina's lavender eyes. I chuckled, knowing she wanted to know if he thought the same about her, "you are beautiful too, and I love you both"
Isaiah looked serious, "what's wrong?" I asked him a little concerned.
"It's our daughter. You need to talk to her. She needs your support, not your scolding. Maybe she will try to be a little less rebellious and she would listen to you more. I know she is just trying to be the best future queen possible, but you need to be the one there for her"
"Isaiah, I want my daughter to be safe. You know how dangerous the humans were" I said, walking away from him, and getting ready to go to bed.
"She is like you Stella. You are both stubborn. Try to work together," he said, "you could handle me, so it shouldn't be a problem"
I rolled my eyes and smiled because I knew he was right. My daughter, instead of being scolded by me, she needed my support. "Fine, I promise I will talk to her, without all the nagging."
We were getting ready to go to bed, but we heard a loud knock on the door. "Your highness, you are needed at the throne hall" one of the warriors called from behind the door. We quickly opened it, and he was there, out of breath.
"What happened?" Isaiah asked.
"Your mother and father need you at the throne hall, it is very important," he said. Why do I have a bad feeling about this?
"We'll be there, thank you" I said, closing the door and changing to something more appropriate to leave the room. We sprinted to the throne hall and when we walked in, my parents were there, along with my kids and some warriors surrounding a man. I couldn't see who it was, but my heart was telling me it was someone we knew.
'Oh no, Stella. It's him' Alina mentioned. She could probably feel the energy surging from whoever was there.
"What are you talking about?"
'The human hunter Isaiah used to work for' she replied.
"That is impossible, the portals have been closed and there were no humans left. We made sure of it," I whispered. I didn't want to believe it, but as we got closer, I could see him.
"Killian" Isaiah said. I looked up my parents' way, and my father held a cold expression. I looked back at Killian, and he was smirking evilly.
"Hello, your highnesses," he mentioned focusing on Isaiah, "I can see your little beast trapped you forever"
My blood was boiling and Alina was trying to come out and hurt him, but I was able to hold her back. I walked over and looked at him intently. I could see the red streaks in his eyes and I knew he had his own beast in there.
"Does Uncle Leon know he is here?" I asked.
"No, he doesn't. I am not sure he would want to know Killian is back" dad replied. I walked around him, stopping right behind, as I ripped his shirt on the back, revealing the two bumps where our wings come out from.
'Hello, Everard' Alina mentioned, shocking me.
"Do you know him?" I asked, curiously.
'Yes, I do. He is one powerful Gargoyle, and you need to be careful with him. Especially inhabiting a rotten human like him'
"We have to tell him. I have a feeling only he can deal with this," I mentioned, and dad ordered the warriors to get Leon.
Killian turned around slowly and in Everald's growl, he said, "I don't think your uncle would be able to stop me. He summoned me as soon as he bit Killian. But the fool didn't know. I stayed hidden until I found the perfect chance to show myself and show him I am even more powerful than him or any of you"
With that, he shifted and broke the chains that were holding him. He shot a blast of fire towards me, but I was able to shift on time. Alina used her wings to protect herself from the blast, but she was still knocked on the floor. As soon as she was able to get up, he released a chain of fire around her neck, tightening it as she struggled to get them off.
"No!!!" I could hear my daughter scream, while my family tried to stop him, but he was too much for them to handle. He released a wall of fire to keep them from getting closer.
'Alina, you can fight this, don't let him' I mentioned, feeling the burns of the chain all over my body. Alina closed her eyes and focused. As soon as she opened them, she shot a blast of ice straight to his chest, knocking him on the floor. The warriors were able to contain him while she tried to recover.
"Are you okay, love?" Isaiah reached and made sure Alina and I were okay. It took a moment for her to heal, but as soon as she did, she felt exhausted and let me take over. Dawn and the twins approached me, and I could see her tears falling from her eyes.
"I am not as strong as before" I whispered and Isaiah just held me in an embrace.
"No, love. You just haven't had the need to fight until now. You will get your strength soon"
"Mom" Dawn was scared. I held her hand and gave her a smile.
"I am fine, sweetheart, I just need to rest," I said and Isaiah helped me up "take me to the room"
I could hear dad order the warriors to take him to the dungeon, but Killian let out a loud laugh and he disappeared in a black smoke before our very eyes.
