“How do you know each other?” I asked. There was no way they both were familiar to each other.
“It doesn’t matter, Princess. Your brother has sent me to bring you back home” Rhett replied, extending his hand for me to take. I looked in between both of them and Lucian wouldn’t look back at me.
“Lucian, tell me what’s going on?” I asked him before I decided what to do.
He looked at me and told me I better go with Rhett back to the castle. He has a big secret and I needed to know what it was.
“I am not leaving until you tell me what’s going on” I demanded, but all I got was an angry stare from him. He was content a few minutes ago and I’m sure asking him that question did not sit well with him.
