"I know it does, but we have to give him the benefit of the doubt. He knows his father the best, and it will be the only way to trap him," she said, taking a deep breath and looking towards the room where Lucian was.
"You really are worried about him, aren't you?" I asked, with a soft smile on my face. She smiled back and nodded.
"I am really worried about both of them. It is hard, when they are both my mates. Cicely is confused right now, but leaning towards Rhett. It is weird, since he is human, and how could I be more attracted to a gargoyle?" she said, making us laugh
