I couldn't believe he marked me. The feeling running through my veins was indescribable. But there was something that wasn't right. As if a bad feeling was taking its way through my body. I felt a wave of happiness, then anger.
"What is going on with you, Lucian?" I asked, knowing how the bond worked and I could feel all his emotions. Heading towards the dungeon to check on Rhett, I bumped into Leon.
"Hello, baby girl" he greeted me, with a big smile on his face as I hugged him.
"Hi, Leon. Where have you beet lately? We haven't seen you around" I said, pulling away from him.
"Well, I have been busy" his smile was very suspicious. I wondered if he had found a mate. It would be a logical explanation for his happiness.
