Carnal Captivity
Mara tied my hands behind my back then turned and led the way. She unlocked and opened several doors until we came to a long, dim passageway leading to the rear of the mansion. At the end, she lit a lantern and unlocked a thick, narrow oaken door, revealing a long flight of narrow stone steps leading down into darkness. She started down, and when I hesitated, Karel jabbed his rifle into my back. “Move, Roy. My bullets will do worse things to you than what awaits you down there.”
