Kristine POV
“Ooof,” I mumbled as I was kicked in the stomach once again. I flew across the room, landing on the mat furthest away from Brittany. There are some warriors working out in the training area that we are using, but not many. While some have watched with concern, nobody has stepped in to stop the s**t kicking I am receiving.
We completed a five-mile run and some weight training. I was exhausted when we finished, but able to keep up. I was confident that was it for today, but I was wrong. We are ending a second hour of Brittany training me in hand-to-hand combat. We have not even shifted to our wolves. I have no idea what she has planned, but as I am lying on the floor curled up into a ball, I pray to the Moon Goddess we are done for the day.
“Get up,” I heard Brittany
