Rejection!?. Was she threatening me!.
"Are you threatening me?" I asked loudly.
She shook her head slowly and then wiped off her tears again.
"How do you feel about me, Ian?" She asked softly.
Damn it!. How did I really feel about her?.
It was complicated.
I didn't want to accept her because my belief was based on her lying, but the more I did, the more I came to see that she was somehow telling the truth.
