Ian's p.o.v
I woke up to Axel's loud whimpers of pain and my heart beating loudly.
It wasn't the first time I was feeling this way because I had felt it before.
I quickly stood up from the bed and rushed out of my bedroom. The closer I got to Amelia's room the heavier my footsteps became.
Once I was at the door, I lifted my trembling hand and opened pushing it forward.
The servant girl who I remembered as Toni was standing sobbing with a paper in her hand.
"Where is my mate?" I asked in a cracked voice that was nearly a whisper.
She quickly looked at me then bowed.
"I asked you a f*****g question. where is my damn mate!" I growled furiously making the place shake and her to fall on her knees sobbing loudly.
