ENID THE PERFECT DISTRACTION Clover was on the phone when I moved from Mildred. I scratched my forehead feeling my fingers tingle from the sensation of holding her chin in a tight grip. My motive was to knock off a tooth so it could be a constant reminder of what could happen the next time she dared to cross the line. "You're late!" Clover heaved a sigh into the phone, "Remy's here with a few elders." "Five more minutes and I'm there." I cleared my throat and started towards the door. Not bothering to look back at the ghastly sight behind me. I needed this distraction so I wouldn't end up killing her.
