Weird Things. I looked up at my dad, searching his face for reassurance, for anything that might tell me I wasn’t overthinking this, that I wasn’t alone in what I had just experienced. But instead, his face held something else entirely. His brows were slightly furrowed, his lips parted just a little as if he wanted to say something but couldn’t quite form the words.
