Up ahead in the distance, Sabienn could see The Eye as they made good time along the third Needle. He took stock of his own physical presence and found his body to be working well. His feet, his hands, his arms and legs were all sweaty and warm but held no encumbrance. When he turned to view his friends, he saw them to be in equally fine fettle. It was just the swelling above his eye that was the only imperfection and this was more annoyance than obstruction.
