A black sedan merged into the midday traffic flow, its tinted windows hiding everything inside from prying eyes. In the backseat, Jenkin clutched his briefcase like his life depended on it. His heart was racing like a drum roll. Through the rear window, he could see the same plain-looking SUV that had been tailing him for blocks like a predator stalking its prey.
