12 Drifter strode up to the windows and looked out with a tense look on his face. His eyes scanned not the ground, but the sky. Allie didn’t fail to notice where his focus lay before he turned to face Lady Douglas. “This castle is located in high mountains. Surely there’s been snow here during this time of year before.” She shook her head. “No, sir.
