Everyone was stunned after the first elder spoke. They kept looking at each other, wondering what he meant with their murmurs and mumblings.
"Is her identity really that extraordinary?"
"What can we say? The first elder comes in and recognizes her, what else should we expect?"
I felt a little panic at the first elder's words. The tone in which he spoke left me tensed as to what he was about to say.
The first elder looked around and cleared his throat. "The new elder would return to the battlefield soon after a break. If she had been here and had appeared in front of everyone, she would become a target to the hostile forces that may be close. This made her unable to attend but she sent her confidant, Miss Doris to replace her and attend the available events." He conclude
