Chapter Twelve: Where Next?

"Why are you informing me now?" I said ignoring all what the system has said. "I need to find that man!"
I looked around the hall, ignoring all the glances that the students were giving me.vi couldn't find him. I bent down almost shedding tears.
"Why am I so weak. I am not strong enough. I need to get stronger. But how? When will I get stronger? Everything is not just going my way. I know I have Powers but I don't know how to make use of it." I thought, before a voice startled me.
"Vic! Vic!! Are you okay" Melody said as she tried to hold me from falling to the ground. "What happened to you. What did the man did to you??"
Melody panicked.
"Should I call someone to help you?" I signalled to her not to bother.
"Where did the man went to?" I asked Melody.
"We saw all of them leaving before the cops could arrive."
"All of the Thundersons?!" I inquired.
"Yes! Did anything happen to you?"
"I think he knows something about my family and race. They're not humans like you all think." I explained to her.
"Does that mean that he's Psychic Vampire like you?"
"I don't know, but he said something that made me think he's not my type. I think he's a blood vampire!" I replied.
"Why will the Thunderson have a hand in things like this?" she said.
"There's a lot going on in their family than you think."
"So are you saying that... " Melody said.
"Yes, the whole Thunderson family might be vampires."
"That explains it, why will an ordinary human being have some kind of blood link powers, if it doesn't have anything to do with these blood vampires." she said.
"We can't say, but we need to proof it out, sooner or later." I said and Melody nodded in agreement. "But first, we need to decide where to go next. Should we change our appearances into that of a detective or we should continue going on to the army school?"
Melody brought out a little sheet of paper and read out the contents, "I heard that two of the Thunderson true blood children will be attending the army school. So I'm suggesting we go to the army school first, we can keep on spying on what they do, how they act and where they go to."
"In that way, we'll be focusing on three main things." I said but Melody was confused.
"What is that?"
"We'll be focusing on how to get stronger, and by doing that, we need to attend every possible class that will be a beneficiary to us. That is one. And two, we need to keep our eyes and ears open for there might be dangers around us than we think!"

Outside the hall, a female in a cream coloured overcoat, was discussing a few things with a cop.
"Tell your men to sweep the area well, I want every nooks and crannies checked." The woman said.
"Yes, ma'am Grace, we'll do as you say." The cop said.
In the middle of their discussions, a cop had come to meet them.
"Inspector!!" The cop saluted.
"Report!" The inspector said.
"When we did a head count of all the students there, we notice that twenty five students are missing."
"Twenty five?!" Ma'am Grace exclaimed.
"Yes, and when we searched all the rooms of the auction house, our cops came across a writing on the wall. Sir, it was written with blood."
"Let's go and see it." The inspector said and they all moved into the auction house. They passed through all the students in the hall and went inside the room. Vic and melody were wondering what had happened. That was the room where they had been directed to enter. The ones who had not activated the powers of the watch.
With curiosity killing him, Vic tried to focus his mind reading skill on a cop that was also going into the room.
He scanned through his mind and discovered that he was anxious to know where some missing students had went to.
"Missing students? who are missing." Vic thought.
"Melody, can you still recognize the students that were among us when we were called into that room."
"I think I can." Melody said as she looked around for a few minutes before answering back, they are all here."
"Can you turn invisible and spy on what they had found in the room?" Vic asked.
"Yes!"Melody answered.
"Do it now, I've got to know what is happening in that room."
"To the back!" Melody replied
"What?" Vic was confused.
"let's go to the back of the hall! I can't turn invisible in the midst of other students. Come on." Melody whispered and make her towards the back of the hall. Vic soon followed.
"I didn't thought of that before."
They both hid at the corner of the hall, where no cop or students are watching. Although the cops were at the back of the hall, they saw them but quickly ignored them.
"You are so smart." Melody said to Vic.
"Who is the smart one here, aren't you the one that had suggested that we should come to the back. I was so dumb to have ask you to turn invisible at front."
"No, you're smart! I never thought of using my invisibility powers, but your suggestion made me realize my stupidity. We want to catch an intruder and we see the very chance to catch him but we chose to ignore it, how will we be able to catch him then. You are a wise one, Vic. I do hope to see you act wisely than you did today."
"Thank you my dearest sister and friend for your comments. I'm starting to blush, you know." They both laughed.
"Then, let's catch this so called Intruders. Shall we?" Melody replied
"Yes" Vic lifted his right hand, but he remembered something.
"Wait, where is the sword." Vic said looking around.
"What sword??" Melody asked.
"The Dragon swor.... " Vic stopped Midway, "You didn't notice any sword with me, do you?" Vic asked
"You didn't have any sword with you and if you have I would have notice but you dont have any." Melody answered.
Vic turned to the system as he stylishly tapped his right eyebrows.
'What happened to the sword'
'Why'
'This is crazy, but what is this so called gem you're talking about?'
'The gem is something you receive after killing a beast.' Ang replied.
'A gem, not a beast crystal?' Vic asked
'They are far different from each other. The beast crystal is the power cell of the beast, but the gemstone is the newly discovered substance found at the chest region of the beast. It functions as the MC cell of the beast. Not only that, but it can be used the same way a beast crystal works.
It can be used to create weapons and armour. Used as a light source, used for powering transport means. All other things you use a beast crystal for, the gemstone can also be used.' Ang explained and Vic now understood but he was still angry that he didn't get to use the sword well.
"Sorry, I was trying to figure out where I last put the sword." Vic said to melody.
She sat on a bench after seeing that Vic was silent.
"No need to be sorry, I still can't forget what you said."
"What is that?!"
"You said that when you keep on thinking about an issue, you get your answers."
"Oh! you haven't forgotten that." Vic smiled to himself.
"The cops are still in the room, Let's get this done!" Melody said as she start casting her invisibility magic skill.
Before Melody could cast her invisibility powers, Vic had activated his mind reading skill on her and he went to where he was seated before at the middle of the hall.
Melody went into the room in her invisibility form and she saw what she could at least call blood on the wall.
On the wall of the room, there was a statement written boldly with blood:
" YOUR STUDENTS ARE WITH US BUT WE ARE NOT THE THUNDERSONS. DON'T TRY TO FIND US BECAUSE WE ARE IN THE SHADOWS "
