There were thousands of knights marching as they were all thronged together. It seems like they had just come back from battle or something.
As they marched through the forest, the impact of their feet stomping the ground was so great that the noise of the beast that Melody, Vic and the twins had ran away from wasn't as loud as the noise of the knight's feet.
In front of the knights were Master Mages. They were the one leading the whole army.
One of the Master Mages that was a lot more older than the rest, pointed towards the direction of the lake. It is like the Master mage has some insight on spotting the location of beasts.
Quick, they all marched towards the lake. And they stopped at where the alligators were. The alligator beast, upon hearing the chants and noises coming towards them, had woken up and got into a fighting stance. surrounding the trees, where the alligator beasts had laid.
When the beasts tried to attack, Student Mages within the ages of 12 to 17 years, came out from the midst of the Master Mages. They were in total of twenty one, ready to face the alligator beasts.
Some raised their hands and balls of fire came rushing out and scorching the beasts that fell victim. While some where creating earth balls. They were Seven Mages focusing on a beast, closing each beast in the earth balls. The earth balls were so strong that it crushed the beast's bones in one go.
"We just have to calm our minds,... I just have to calm my mind!" Kurtis said as he tried to activate his lightning ability magic.
"No, not this time!" Another mage named Belkin said. "You're the only one with an excess amount of Mana here. You must activate it fast!"
"I know, I'm tryyinggg!! Arrrgh!" Kurtis shouted as he was about to activate his powers, but it was all a failure.
"Don't be too disappointed, we still have many beast to hunt after this one. It just takes a lot of practice to get adapted." A female Mage, bearing the name Anill said to Kurtis.
Kurtis was a student Mage with a lightning ability. Him and the rest of the six mages were all using lightning magics. But none of them were experts when it comes to the use of magic.
"Amy, can't you see! We are cursed, and we can't last any longer in this world. How are we going to defend ourselves when another beast outbreak occurs. How will we survive when all our leaders disappear." Kurtis lamented.
"These lightning mages are not the best part at all." The Oldest Master mage said. "And it's all your fault."
He was referring to the six teachers that were teaching the student mages.
"We're sorry sir!" They all replied.
"They are suppose to be the strongest magician of the kingdom but see how they have failed. They don't even know how to activate their magic powers." The man complained.
"Master, we don't have anyone that can teach them how to activate their lightning abilities. And lightning abilities are quite difficult to learn compared to the other abilities." A teacher explained.
The old Master mage was silent as he was thinking of some things. 'Only if you are here, people would have been convinced to learn lightning ability. Your presence will strengthen us more.' He thought and laughed within him. But suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in both of his eye. He almost fell down, if not for the support of three mages that were behind him.
He's a man of great weight, that the three mages that had assisted the old mage In regaining balance, felt the impact of his weight.
Who knows how many beast he had killed and the amount of Mana he have in his body. He's the oldest and strongest of all other Mages.
"Master, are you okay!" The teachers all asked. The other master Mages that were watching the performance of the student mages and assisting them where need be, noticed when the old mage was about to fall. So they came rushing towards him.
"I said I'm fine, I just felt dizzy."
"Let's go in friend, I guess it really is serious." A Master mage nearly as older as the old man said as he helped the old man into the pitched tent.
"I don't know why, but this vision kept on occuring." The old mage said as he entered the tent with the other Mage.
"Huffff" A female teacher sighed. "I always get scared whenever I'm with him."
"Hey Jane, Why are you scared of him, did you do something bad." A male teacher asked.
"Hey Jane, don't tell me that you're going to... " A teacher interrupted but Jane had closed her mouth before she utter any further discussions.
"Whatever!" The male teacher said as he moved towards the lightning ability students that were all watching their fellow students defeating beasts and gaining points
"Hey!! L group scores 0. And if you can't score the next four fights, you'll be given penalties. Understand?" The male teacher said. He is a tall man, probably the tallest among the other mages and he always show off to the others that he is tall.
"I hate him!" A Mage said to the others. But the teacher caught up to what he had just said.
"Hey, what did you say just now." He asked pointing at the boy.
"Who? me??" the boy asked as he looked around.
"Arrgh, you are making me furious. Answer me, what did you say now?!" he shouted as his eye lit up green In colour.
"Bill, leave them alone for now, you really need to be careful when dealing with this students ... "The old man said
" There's something Important I want to discuss with you all!"
