I sat in my office, thinking about Wilona. There are so many unanswered questions. She needs to have a rational mind about the direction she wants to take.
Talking to her yesterday made me realise she wasn’t ready and needed more time to ponder and decide. Because it would break my heart, seeing her make the same mistake her mother almost did.
‘It’s not the same, Kai.’ Nova told me.
‘I realize, but she shouldn’t go through any pain. It was bad enough seeing Ross’s beta shoot her with the tranquillizer.’ I said, reliving the moment.
Annunziata was very emotional. Especially when Aiyana growled Nakita’s name (her mother’s wolf). It made Nova whine with rage and he almost attacked Arvin.
‘My pup is off limits.’ He growled, and I nodded in agreement.
