Konrad's POV I was glad that she agreed to let me see her off. Even though it bothers me, she will be on her own in that house. The night breeze mixed with her delicious cinnamon rose scent calmed my senses as I inhaled deeper. She was not comfortable. I thought it was my presence, but how she rubbed her bare arms made me realise she was cold. “Here, take this.” I took off my jacket and placed it over her shoulder.
