He seemed very tense when he opened his hotel door, and I wonder what happened.
‘Ask him when you are done fooling around.’ Aiyana said, licking her paw in a jaded manner.
I laughed as he splashes water on my face, and I splashed him back. Seeing that he was relaxed and enjoying himself, I dove in and swam further into the deeper parts.
When I glided up to float, his arms wrapped around my shoulders as if he was choking me, but in a gentle way of rescuing a drowning victim.
“Konrad.” Saltwater got into my mouth and I writhed in his arm as he swam to the shore.
“Don’t worry, brother, I am here. You are safe.”
