I would be the first to awaken that next morning, finding Easton fast asleep at my side. Although there remained tension both s****l and otherwise between us, we both managed to fall asleep without making an issue of the shared mattress; while also allowing me to gain the best night’s sleep I could ever remember while at his side. But at this moment, as I looked over to him, I was awestruck at the caramel skin tempting my fingers to reach and touch him. But the perfection of his own restful expression was enough to leave me satisfied with his image alone as I decided to thank him for his kindness by making breakfast.
