Immediately I stepped out of Mr Cory’s office I let the tears out. This was too much for me, he shouldn’t blame me for something I didn’t do. How was I supposed to know that Tyson would be here and cause trouble for me? He shouldn’t blame me, it wasn’t my fault.
“Hey, how did it g….” Jessica rushed to my side and pulled me in a hug.
“It’s okay, stop crying, Katie. It’s going to be okay,” She said rubbing my back.
It’s not, nothing will ever be okay for me.
“Let’s go.” I couldn’t ask her where we were going, the next place I found myself was at the workers' lounge. Jessica pulled me to a seat and once I was comfortable she sat next to me.
“I…I don’t think anything would ever be okay with me Jess,” I sobbed.
She pulled me closer and let my head rest on her shoulder.
