After saying my piece of mind and what had been troubling me for days now, I took my drink and took a sip from it. We both kept quiet for a while not saying anything to the other. I know she was trying to wrap her head around what I had just said and I also know that it was a lot to take in. It isn’t every day you get up and hear your best friend is going to leave you, true I wasn’t going to leave forever but I need to go.
“Do you think this will help you, Kat?” She asked a while later.
I nod, “it will.” I confirm.
“After thinking about it, I know it will help me. I want to try going out there and challenge myself, I want to pursue my dreams, Jess.” I looked at her and saw that she wasn’t buying my idea so I added.
“And it will also be a way for me to be free from Tyson.”
